Camp Pacific Heartland News
As we move into our sixth summer of providing camping opportunities in Malibu California for children affected by HIV/AIDS, we are proud to have contributed in some way to Camp Heartland's realization of their dream a permanent camp.

Neil Willenson, the founder and president of Camp Heartland, had long hoped to find enough capital and the perfect spot to establish Camp Heartland's' own year-round camping facility and in 1997 everything came together. By summer 1998, campers were enjoying the Camp Heartland magic in Willow River, Minnesota. Having a facility of their own allows Camp Heartland to focus on training staff, outreach toward campers and enlarging the "Journey of Hope." The part we love is that they still like coming out to California to run our Pacific camping session!

Since its inception in 1996, the WARPED TOUR, the nationwide concert and lifestyle tour, has donated a percentage of tickets sales to Camp Pacific Heartland. While the kids of America have been enjoying the bands, extreme sports and general revelry of the Warped Tour, they have also been making it possible for the kids of CPH to enjoy the priceless experiences at Camp Hilltop. Everybody has a good time and everybody wins!
